I’m a nurse so I appreciate the heavy body series and the fact that you have visual art 👌🏾 and the “let’s talk about it” at the end. I like your style

I always make space to discuss interpretations for my visual + literary arts. Lots of layers in both so I give a lil bit of context.

'heavy body' is my first series but you'll see me write more. This series kinda happened unexpectedly but I'm glad it did.

I tend to curse under my breath when I read good poetry (it’s a complement) and you had me curse at each line. I’m really excited to see what the rest of this series brings!

Also: love the painting

We got something in common bc I cuss when I think something's really good too followed by a yell and three snaps. Thank you M.P. for the cussing compliment.😂

I appreciate you.

this poem hit me in the gut—in the best way. The imagery was raw, visceral, and beautifully layered. I love how you made the body speak. Excited to see how the rest of this series unfolds. Keep creating boldly.
