The opening stanza does so much work in establishing the theme of nerves visually, it made me jealous. That could easily be the opening line to a novel. But it was the fourth stanza that had me cursing the most.
Thank you, a canvas is always larger or smaller than I think it is in a photo. It's a great work!
My nerves are literally shot this week. Totally ungrounded, shooting pain from tip to toe, so, my communication becomes untethered from respectability, freed from restraint. And I can't tell if this is good or dangerous, perhaps it's both.
and now...ohhh you see what I'm doing. 😉 If you see something there, please share.
As you read them, think of them as separate voices, separate stories. If our bodies, maybe specific body parts, could express how we handle challenging situations and everyday life, what would they say?
This poem grabs your throat and doesn’t let go. The imagery is stunning—raw and painfully human. I felt every frayed wire, every missed signal. (need the signal clean!) this speaks to silent scream beneath the surface. A beautifully crafted, emotionally searing joint. I’ll be thinking about this one until we fix the connections.
This had me curse at least twice. I really love this series
...and I have to ask, how big was/is that painting in real life? Screens never give that justice
Yeah I did a lil cussing myself😂
Which part had you cussing the most?
I appreciate you M.P. and I'm glad you're enjoying it.
The painting is 12inx12in, acrylic on acrylic (paint and paper are acrylic). The image shown is the entire piece.

Yes, the fourth stanza is my favorite as well as the third. It's a very loud warning that shouldn't be ignored.

Attasalina I'm holding onto this. I believe it can be both.🩶
Dope, I like the below surface tension that you bring here and excited to see how it relates to the skin. Keep em flowing 🙏🏽
