A couple of years ago I miscarried a ghetto snakes child after he broke up with me. It was such a defining moment for me and I just came across the photo I took in the hospital of the book I was reading. It’s crazy how your life can change when you finally let go of a ghetto snake! This was GOOD Alex!
Jacquie your response has been on my mind most of the day. It reminds of a ghetto snake I had to let go of, my father. I had to let him go so I can have peace. It hurt and I cried hard, but my life has gotten better without him.

Damn. It always breaks my heart when I think about all the men missing out of our light, love, and dopeness, but not just any men our fathers. I’m proud of you for prioritizing you in that situation!
This might sound harsh but my great-grandmother taught me how to kill a snake by chopping the head off with the shovel when we would be in the garden. Its a ghetto method to use on a ghetto snake 🐍
Girlll - you put it in the atmosphere and I can't ignore it. I'm gonna sit with this one for a minute. You bout to have me write + paint a new piece with that 😮💨. Yes, I'm aware of that method but never had to do it.
Yes it breaks my heart too but I have to protect myself along with my husband and girls and they come first.
I felt that last line!!! The protection of your family is first I went no contact with my mom to do the same. I get it!!! If he’s smart he will come to his senses and if not at least you didn’t get that gene 🧬 from him right!?
